The Sweetness of Friendship #WordlessWednesday

In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

What sweetness is left in life, if you take away friendship? Robbing life of friendship is like robbing the world of the sun. A true friend is more to be esteemed than kinsfolk.

I met an old friend last week – after 10 years – and like all great friendships, we took up from where we left off! After lunch, she wanted to get henna done, so she did while we talked and laughed!

  1. What a thoughtful post! The henna looks so pretty! I love watching when someone actually does it…feels so therapeutic… probably as much as catching up with a friend after a long time! I can relate to that sense of comfort and joy. So glad you joined our #ww linky party this week, Corinne. Hope to see you here more often.

  2. Why do your posts always speak to me Cory? Always. When I saw it last week, I shared it immediately with this dear friend. Thank you. <3
