We hardly see sparrows any more and that is sad. I’m glad to report that there is a concerted effort to bring them back. Today is World Sparrow Day. Each of us can do small things to get the sparrows back. My Dad used to feed the birds and we are continuing this tradition. My brother first got Dad this feeder, but for some reason he didn’t set it up. When set it up and started keeping water bowls with fresh water for them to drink, we were rewarded by this sight.
