Wednesday Prompt 2014 #9

We’re back in business again after a week away. I hope you have chance to catch up on things after a hectic Festival of Words. I don’t know about you all, but I certainly found this Festival the most enjoyable of the three we’ve had so far.

Wednesday Prompt 2014 #9

Today’s prompt is based on a news item – I’ll give you the introductory paragraph, and a link to the story, but it’s up to you to create it into a work of your own – a story or a poem – whatever you choose.

Have fun with this – respond to the prompt on your blog and come back to add the link here, before next Wednesday!
