100 Words on Saturday 2014 – 6

If you want to use this badge, you can snag it from here.

I’m going to be travelling today – going by train after a gap of four years – which is pretty crazy for me. I used to love train travel, having spent days travelling around the country when trains were so much slower then. Oh, the fun we kids would have. I don’t know how my parents kept their cool – three children and a large dog – packed into one compartment, but it was fun. And we always carried a lot of food! My brothers even carried their pea-shooters, crafted out of old pens, and plenty of dried peas to shoot at unsuspecting people as we passed them by! The wickedness of youth, huh?

Why am I telling you all this? Because I’m doing what today’s 100 Words on Saturday prompt requires! 😉

The prompt: Write a hundred words without thinking – just free your mind!

  1. Hi Corinne, I have put in my link for the very first time. Hope I have done it right. It is an old one though but a complete spur of the moment one written during a car ride.
