Announcing Write Tribe Festival Of Words 2

vecchio libro con stilografica

I’m so happy to be announcing the next Write Tribe Festival of Words. There was a great response for the previous one and I’m hoping you’ll enjoy this one too.

So what are the details for Write Tribe Festival of Words 2?

Duration – 7 days (yes, just like the last time)

Dates – 8th – 14th December 2013

Theme – We’re going with different themes for each day. I’m sharing them with you, so you can start planning your posts already:

8 Dec – Memory/ Memories
9 Dec – Food
10 Dec – Books
11 Dec – Music
12 Dec – Travel
13 Dec – People
14 Dec – Dream/s

You are free to interpret these in any way you want.

How does it work – Β You post on the day’s theme on your blog/s. There will be a post with a linky up for every day of the Festival. You link your post and visit other posts that are linked. It’s a great way to challenge yourself, make new connections and build traffic.

More ideas and details will follow. But I’m sure that this is enough to get you all set.

Starting planning for the Write Tribe Festival of Words 2 today! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Corinne; I love this! Would be great any other time of year, but December is so busy! Is it okay to post one or two, or do we have to commit to all seven?
    Thanks,
    Debbie

      1. It’s not only the posts, but also the visiting, commenting, etc. Just the wrong time of year for me, especially seven days in a row. Might have had time for one or two. Hopefully, I can join you if there’s another one in future. Wishing you much success! πŸ™‚

    1. You know.. in all these years of blogging, I think there have been very very few months (less than 5 surely) where I have had 7 posts a month. But seeing the wide range and freedom afforded for this, I definitely want to give it a shot.
And as you mentioned in one of the comments, having the freedom to schedule posts makes it that much easier to prepare in advance.

  2. Thank you so much for this! I don’t know about others, but I have gained from the last edition of festival of words – got new followers, new friends and have been following some great blogs. I am super charged and excited for the next edition. If possible please do have this in the break of every 2months, its fun writing πŸ™‚ thank you once again!!

  3. I’m in. I’m pretty commitment phobic when it comes to blogging but this I think I can manage. I’m sure I’ll be writing the posts at the last minute despite there being so much time. Deadlines do bring out the best in me…. Should be fun.

  4. Hi Corinne, I have come across this festival for the first time and I have so many doubts. As I understand we must create posts on each of the above mentioned days on the corresponding topics and link them to write tribe post. We are free to write anything in conjunction with the topic mentioned. (Queries – Do we have to write on all seven days on the topics given? is there any criteria to enter? Is there any form to be filled? ) Thanks and hoping that I can make it πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Poornima – I’ll be putting out a post tomorrow with more details. However, there’s no sign up form. You need to post on the topic of the day on your blog (your take on the prompt) and add the link to the linky for the day.

  5. I am writing from the place that is my style. I’m a blogger… I blog my life. So all my posts will be personal, and vulnerable.
I pray I can hang in to the end!

I’m looking forward to checking out the other blog posts!
I’m glad Corinne posted it to facbook and I saw it!
